Why are we okay with budget spending?

I work my ass off, and make an okay living, and so much of it goes for taxes and it kills me. And I teach my kids to work hard and make a nice life for themselves. BUT I look at the education system and the government services (DMV, post office) and I can see that they don’t work so hard, because OBVIOUSLY they don’t have to. They just have to keep to their jobs in order to get paid and get promotions. They work at self-serving politics, not citizen serving capacities and the CRAZY THING is that I’m paying for it. Who knows, I may not know what I’m talking about, but I do know, that business, and not state, would have the same money, much more would get done.
