CUomo is a Bad leader, but a good politician

Cuomo is following the winds of public opinion, abdicating political decisions to epidemiological models, ignoring the impact of his decisions on poor people, because we don’t care about them.  We are “saving” 100,000s of the oldest and sickest people in rich countries, by starving millions of healthy children in poor countries.  Cuomo states “it’s worth destroying the economy to save lives,” meanwhile, the destruction costs more lives than it saves.  His press conferences are commercials on his own greatness.  He parcels out irrelevant numbers without any meaningful analysis.  I wouldn’t let him coach my kid’s little league team, much less lead something important, but compared to other politicians, he is on par.
