Should Dreamers be allowed to Stay? My concern lies in how this will be seen by our youth? We teach our children that the laws of our country take precedence. If the Dreamers are allowed to stay, who will explain to our children why some laws are to be adhered to and others can be ignored. Who will teach them where the fine line begins and where it ends? Are we sending our children the right message?
Now, if the Dreamers were given x amount of time to apply for citizenship legally, the need to explain to our children goes away!
